Thanksgiving 2010

We had the most wonderful Thanksgiving this year.  Since we spend many of our holidays alone, we decided to rent a condo on the St. John’s River for something a little different.  Hubby took his fishing boat and I took books and my cross-stitch. 

The condo was right on the river and recently remodeled.  The sunsets were breathtaking and the weather was beautiful.  Hubby got to fish until his heart was content and I read, napped, and did needlepoint.  Occasionally, I’d join hubby on the dock or for a sunset boat ride.   When we got bored we took long walks or rode around looking at riverfront property dreaming of having our own place on the river. 

 Way too quickly the week came to an end and we had to pack up for our hour drive home.

We’re not too sad though because we’re going back Christmas.
